Babies are the first stage as Sim born. The way of baby born is different in pregnant way. But by a crib. Simply, you may to open the buy mode and select to Infant section or buy in Children store. The costs may various. And select the “Add a Sim” icon with vary Simoleons cost. Before you complete Life Dreams and Legacies quest you by 3 LP you buy. Wait till coming a day/24 hours and select “Add a Sim” icon. Now you add the baby as you like, and… baby is born!

When you install Baby Steps update, your Sim can meet Nanny Williams she helps the Simsvalley babies explore world faster.

A baby Sim who in longer version is can’t walk (crawl), feed, and interact the object also can’t take hobby.

What’s function as baby in after Baby Steps update?

Change Diaper, Have a Bath – Fills hygiene bar
Cuddle – Fills social bar and creates relationship.
Entertain – Fills fun bar
Give Food – Fills food bar
Have Birthday – Ages them into toddlers
Go to Sleep (4 hours)* – Fills sleep bar
Hibernate (1 day)* – Also fills sleep bar

*Adults are not needed to complete these actions.

Let’s take a Sim pick a baby.

When you have picked up by Teenager, Adult, or Senior Sims, there are new multi-functional as you completing Nanny Knows Best quest.

Bed – Quick Bouncies / Bounce Marathon

Bath – Bathe Infant / Bath Time Fun

Sofa – Sit with Infant / Relax with Infant

The items are we not mention that’s mean, the Sim cannot use that objects.

Select your Sim and select the options:

Let Infant Crawl (your baby will let crawl) – 3 seconds
Change a Diaper – 8 seconds
Give food – 9 seconds
Practice walking – 12 minutes

Baby has only two interaction is “Sofa – Excercise Legs or Practice Balancing” and “Pets (cat / dog) to play it”.

Fed the baby in highchair, your baby has 3 options or in a crib only 2 options;

Go to Sleep – 4 hours
Hibernate – 1 day

Hobby

The baby hobby just one is Musical Expression play with buy xylophone in R’us Store with maximal least 3.
